The very first Christmas carolers were angels in the sky, full of brilliant light, bringing the news of Jesus’s birth to the shepherds of the field. As carolers roam the streets, church bells ring, and families gather together in their homes while their favorite holiday songs echo in the background, the story of Christmas has been passed down through the generations through music. This is the theme of our EP Echoes of Light. Each song that we chose captures this beautiful phenomenon - from the “Gloria” of the angels on the first Christmas, to the bells and carolers of Christmases past, to the cozy Christmas celebrations we experience today. Even in the darkness of winter, the story of Christmas shines brightly, and echoes in our hearts all year round.
